Abstract

Marketing is imperative for business survival and sustainability. However, most entrepreneurs face challenges in establishing their business due to their limited marketing knowledge. A good product will only sell itself with efforts to be introduced and promoted to the market. Entrepreneurs also have a limited budget to subscribe to the marketing tools mostly available from international vendors with high subscription fees. These marketing problems can yield to low sales and profits, affecting business growth and viability. Therefore, we developed a marketing module known as Netpreneur's eMarketing to address these problems and empower entrepreneurs in Malaysia. The module empowered Malaysian entrepreneurs by providing functions featuring basic marketing concepts to help them increase their sales. The module's main functions include promoting products and services on various social media platforms, determine product sales prices, and managing customer data systematically and efficiently. The system was developed using Agile methods to produce an efficient and user-friendly marketing service that can benefit entrepreneurs in Malaysia.
